Peptide Tracker Privacy Policy


This privacy policy applies to the Peptide Tracker app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by MD TECH (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".


The Application is a personal journal for recording the protocol provided by your healthcare provider, logging injections and managing reminders. The Application does not calculate, recommend or verify doses, dosages or reconstitution amounts.


Information Collection and Use


The Application collects limited information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as


  • The operating system and device type you use on your mobile device, and the Application version
  • Anonymous usage statistics, such as the screens of the Application that you open
  • Crash reports and technical error details
  • An anonymous user ID that is created automatically for your installation


The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.


The Application does not use your device's advertising identifier, does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not show advertisements, and the Service Provider does not sell your information.


User Provided Information


No account, name, email address or phone number is required to use the Application.


Information you enter into the Application is stored only on your device, including protocols, injection logs, injection sites, reminders, cycles, inventory, health and progress metrics, lab results, photos and notes. The Service Provider cannot access this information. It is removed when you delete the Application, and it may be included in your device's own backups (iCloud or Google) depending on your device settings.


Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Exports (PDF/CSV) are created on your device and are only shared where you choose to send them. If you contact the Service Provider by email, your email address is used only to respond to your inquiry.


Health Data Disclosure


The Application does not upload, sell or share the health information you record. Health-related entries (metrics, lab results, injection logs, protocols and notes) are saved on your device so you can view your history, and are not transmitted to the Service Provider's servers or to any third party — except text you choose to type into an AI Assistant question, as described below.


The Application does not access Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect data.


AI Assistant


The AI Assistant is optional. Before your first question, the Application asks for your permission. If you agree, only the text of the question you type is sent through the Service Provider's server to OpenAI, a third-party AI provider, to generate an answer. Your logs, protocols and health data are not sent. Please do not include your name or other personal details in your questions.


The Service Provider does not store your questions or the answers on its servers. It keeps only a daily request count linked to your anonymous user ID, to enforce fair-use limits. OpenAI processes requests under its own terms and privacy policy. The AI Assistant provides general educational information only and does not calculate or suggest doses.


Third Party Access


The Application uses the following third-party services, each under its own privacy policy:


  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Functions, Cloud Firestore, App Check, Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase): anonymous user ID, AI request counts, app integrity checks, crash reports and anonymous usage statistics
  • OpenAI: the text of AI Assistant questions, only after you give consent
  • RevenueCat, Apple App Store and Google Play: subscription purchases and status. Payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google; the Service Provider never receives your payment card details


These services do not receive the protocols, logs or health data stored in the Application.


The Service Provider may disclose information:


  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
  • when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with their trusted service providers listed above, who work on their behalf and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.


Data Retention Policy


  • Information stored on your device is kept until you delete it or delete the Application.
  • The anonymous user ID and the AI usage counter are kept only as long as needed to operate the AI Assistant. You can request their deletion at any time.
  • Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports are kept according to Google Firebase's retention settings.
  • Subscription records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as needed to manage your subscription and meet legal obligations.


Opt-Out Rights


You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also decline the AI Assistant consent prompt, and manage notification, camera and photo permissions in your device settings at any time. To request deletion of server-side data linked to your anonymous ID, contact the Service Provider. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete your information.


Children


The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided information through the Application, please contact the Service Provider so that it can be deleted.


Security


The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), app integrity verification, and rules that block direct access to its database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.


Changes


This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy and effective date. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

The Application is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not calculate, recommend or verify doses, dosages or reconstitution amounts. Always follow the instructions of your prescriber, pharmacist or healthcare provider.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
